Ciara is a highly experienced dance teacher, choreographer, performer and fitness professional with over 20 years of experience across the performing arts and fitness industries in both Ireland and the UK.

She is a registered Dance Teacher with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) and is an Associate member of the Freestyle Faculty. She also holds an Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Fitness Instructing, Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition and Personal Training. Ciara holds a Trinity College London Level 6 National Diploma in Professional Dance, Anatomy, Physiology and Nutrition, a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts – Dance, Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Anatomy and Physiology, a FETAC Level 5/6 Certificate in Dance – Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Anatomy and Physiology, as well as a Certificate in Fitness Instructing and Exercise to Music.

Ciara enjoys working with the Academy of Dance, in both teaching and choreographing for dancers of all ages and abilities. She is the co-organiser of the Kerry Arts Ball alongside Clarissa Michaux, helping bring Clarissa’s original idea to life and develop the event into a celebration of County Kerry’s Arts, Culture, Community and Creative Talent, while raising vital funds for local charities. This involvement has seen Ciara nominated for the Community Engagement Golden Dance Award.

Ciara is a member of Network Ireland, Kerry Branch, and in 2026 was nominated for the Advanced Career Employee Award, in recognition of her extensive experience and contribution to her profession.

She has taught and choreographed with Cambridge University Tap & Jazz Society, Theatretrain Cambridge, The Dance Studio Leeds and Leeds University Dance Society. Her teaching expertise spans Jazz, Street/Commercial Dance, Musical Theatre, and Strength and Conditioning, creating competition pieces, annual shows, productions, wedding dances and special events for students of all ages and abilities.

Her previous work has involved a variety of professional roles with Bodywork Dance Company, including Outreach Coordinator, Dance Teacher, Choreographer, Stage & Production Manager’s Assistant and Musical Theatre Agent. These roles saw her develop outreach programmes, recruit and coordinate teachers, organise classes in schools, teach and choreograph for both schools and universities, as well as manage productions and oversee props, music, lighting and sound.

In her role as a Musical Theatre Agent, she submitted students for auditions, liaised with casting directors, prepared students for auditions, CVs and headshots, and held auditions for agency clients.

Her choreography and performance work has taken her to major venues including The O2 Arena and the Royal Albert Hall. She has toured Ireland as a dancer, singer and actor in Singin’ in the Rain with Goldenboy Productions, directed by Donna Daly Blyth, performing with those in the West End. She also gained international performance experience at the Hilton Hotel in Malta.

Her professional dance training was at Cambridge Performing Arts, where she trained and performed with renowned choreographers including Kevin Adams (Strictly Come Dancing, Fame Academy) and Nikki Trow (The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent), as well as numerous West End performers and choreographers.

Ciara’s former dance training was at Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa in Cork, where she studied Classical Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Anatomy and Physiology. During this time, she performed with Cork City Ballet at the Cork Opera House alongside professional dancers from the Kirov Ballet, including Nikita Shcheglov and Veronika Ivanova, as well as renowned Irish prima ballerina Monica Loughman.

Throughout her career, Ciara has remained passionate about sharing her experience and creating a positive environment where students can develop their technique, confidence, creativity and love of dance. We are privileged to have her as part of the teaching faculty here at The Academy of Dance.

Nadiia Sichevska

Acro Dance, Rhythmic Gymnastics,

Nadiia is an accomplished Dance Teacher and Choreographer with over 20 years of expertise in teaching both Dance and Physical Education.

She holds a Diploma in Rhythmic Gymnastics, Dance Culture and Dance Pedagogy in Education from the National University “Chernihiv Collegium” Ukraine.

Nadiia is a registered Dance Teacher with the International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA) and is an Associate Member of the Classical Ballet Faculty. She also holds an IDTA Diploma in Acro Dance.

Before joining the teaching faculty at The Academy of Dance, Nadiia taught at Rise Up Aesthetic Gymnastics and Modern Steps Dance Academy in Ukraine.

Her extensive experience includes teaching Dance and Physical Education at both primary and post-primary level throughout Ukraine, where she was also appointed Deputy Principal for Student Affairs.

Alongside her teaching career, Nadiia has enjoyed an extensive performance career. One of her highlights was performing with New Age Dance Company in China in 2014.

With her wealth of experience, passion for dance and dedication to education, Nadiia brings a diverse range of knowledge and expertise to The Academy of Dance.
